The Dynamic Cell Models are a set of the cell components and prokaryotic cells that are visible with a light microscope. Students can take the components and model a specific cell that they are viewing in the microscope so that their completed model reflects the appearance of the cell they are seeing. While modeling cells, students learn which cell components are visible in the light microscope and why those components are in those cells. Classrooms using the Dynamic Cell Models are active and interactive as students use inquiry approaches to create their models. One set of Dynamic Cell Models includes enough components to model two cells at a time and an instructor guidebook filled with student activities; the set comes in a duffel bag for ease in carrying. All plastic components are dishwasher safe.
